Welcome to the Muscaria Wisdom Community!
Learn what to expect from us.

Why we are here
If you have found your way here, you may carry the same feeling that brought us together in the first place. A sense that nature holds knowledge we have not fully understood yet. A sense that modern life can be beautiful and at the same time you may feel disconnected. Maybe you like the idea that healing is not something we receive, but something we can co-create as a community, something we can learn in our relationships with others.
Muscaria Wisdom shares traditional knowledge and contemporary research on the Amanita muscaria mushroom with a strong focus on education and responsibility.
We create community spaces for consensual connection and dialogue, fostering resilience, mutual healing and a living Mycelium for Peace.
We offer awareness and conscious exchange on microdosing Amanita muscaria as well as other natural healing approaches and support networking.

A mushroom worth taking seriously
Amanita muscaria is one of the most recognizable and most-misunderstood mushrooms. Many people know it first through fairy tales or Christmas imagery. It has become a symbol of good luck around the world. We believe that Amanita muscaria deserves more objective recognition than the common misconceptions, fears and fantasies. It deserves honest conversation and cultural awareness.
We are here to learn, and to share what we learn in a way that is grounded and respectful.
That means we will look at questions such as: What compounds are involved in the chemistry of Amanita muscaria, and what do we actually know about how they interact with the human nervous system? What is solid evidence, what is likely and plausible? How have people related to this mushroom historically across time, in different regions and cultures worldwide? What can be learned from ethnobotanics and from the living knowledge of Indigenous communities, and how can its legacy be handled with utmost care so it is not taken out of context, abused or turned into a commodity?
We also believe in research and education as a form of cultural and social responsibility.

A living Mycelium for Peace
We love the mycelium metaphor because it is more than a poetic idea. A healthy mycelium connects. It shares resources. It communicates. It supports the wider ecosystem. In our human world, connection can do the same. Connection can turn personal growth into something that actually changes the ways of the world that surrounds us.
That is why Muscaria Wisdom is also about gatherings and community.
We are saying this in a time where many of our interactions are mediated by screens and digital algorithms. As artificial intelligence becomes more present in daily life, we want to protect what makes humans human.
Note: We are not against technology. We simply refuse to replace community with technology. We want to create spaces where people meet, co-create, and connect in person.

A renaissance of self-responsible health
We are interested in a renaissance of traditional ways of natural healing and self-responsible health.
Health is shaped by many factors: nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, relationships, meaning, and environment. Modern culture often isolates these pieces or sells them back to us as products. We want to explore what it looks like when people reclaim their basic humaneness and when they do it in a community that supports connectedness as much as autonomy and personal growth.
What we are building here
Muscaria Wisdom is a learning space, a research space, and a community space. It will grow slowly and organically. It will include science, history, art, movement, and cultural context. It will include stories and reflections from real people. It will include invitations to gatherings and practices that support connection.
This includes a commitment to consent, transparency, critical thinking, and mutual respect.
If you are reading this as our first post, consider this your handshake. If you are interested in finding out more, please connect with us. Feel free to follow along, share thoughts, and help shape what this becomes. If you have research you want to point us to, questions you want explored, or experiences you want to reflect on in a responsible way, we are listening.
Welcome to Muscaria Wisdom.
